Almost done

 I never thought we would be this close to finishing. I didn't think it was possible. We edited most of the video. It looks amazing. I am beyond proud of my group. We worked so hard and it finally payed off. Now, all I have to do is much CCR. I studder when I talk sometimes so I'm kinda nervous. I am pretty sure it will turn out well.

WE FINALLY RECORDED

      HORRAY!! I AM SO EXCITED! OUR VIDEO IS GOING TO TURN OUT SO GOOD!! It took a while but most of the editing went exactly as planned. The document actually looked official. The phone thing worked. We also added a few parts. We had a clip of the hacker setting a CD on fire. This looked super cool and made him seem like he was trying to hide some pretty important stuff. Also we had some cool shots with the hacker and green coding. Blake has a computer with three screens so it made it look like this guy was really into computer stuff.  Now, all we need to do is edit and I have to figure out how to do my CCR.

Scratch That

     Alright, I'm sorry to be annoying but we are changing our idea. It was not looking good and we did not like it. Instead we want to do something with the Federal Bureau of Investigation or FBI. We want to do something with a phone call, an email, and them being outside the door banging. We are changing it because our first idea did not have the elements of suspense and that is the key role in making a thriller. This new idea will keep the audience on the edge of their chair even in the first two minutes hopefully.
     So, obviously we can't get the FBI to help us out with our project. We researched how to change the caller ID on the house phone. We changed one of our phones to FBI and we are going to do a close up on it. Also we are going to make a fake government email and put the FBI logo on it.  The picture I added to the left is the logo. It makes it look more official. Finally we are gonna get a tough sounding guy to bang on the door and sound all scary and suspenseful. We are ten more times excited to see how our new idea comes out.

Rerecord

Finally, a date we are planning to record. The whole thing this time. Well, at least all the news reporter parts. We are planning to record on Monday, April 3. We are super behind and we are freaking out. Unfortunately I had to go out of town this weekend and next weekend so that is really holding us back. As soon as we recod we are going to move straight into editing and start utalizing our class time. The fact that we have nothing scares me to death. I can not believe we procrastinated so much. I also worry about the CCR because I'm not sure what I'm going to talk about and I shudder when I talk for a long time. I may write myself a script so I can read off of it when I am recording my voice. I think I'm going to only record my voice because if I record myself with a camera I will become obsessed with the way I look in the video and that is obviously not the focus of the video.

Blue snowball

   In our last recording, we noticed that you could barely hear my voice. It might have been because I'm not loud in general, but it also sounded low quality. So, we are going to use something called a Blue Snowball. Blue snowball is a microphone that captures "studio-quality audio for vocals, music, multimedia production, and gaming" according to the microphone's website. We will place the microphone on our lap when we record so that the camera will be unable to see it. It will still be able to pick up our voices perfectly so we are able to match the camera recording with the microphone recording. If we are able to get all three of us in sync, this will improve out opening by so much.
